Morten Viskum was transporting his annual silicone portrait sculpture of himself to an art fair in Copenhagen. He stood on his balcony and filmed after the police smashed his car window and the alarm had gone off. The video has 6.9 million views.

From the shattered glass fragments, Viskum created this ring — a piece of jewelry that carries the moment when art and power collided on an Oslo morning.
